Senior Faculty Position

1. Requirements:

    (a) Candidates should be experts and scholars holding positions equivalent to professors or associate professors in internationally renowned universities and research institutes.

    (b) They should have profound academic attainments, achieved well-recognized academic achievements by international peers in their research fields, and can lead an extensive research team.

2. Offer Package:
  • Salary of  RMB 900,000 per year + RMB 120,000 of housing fund and social security per year+unlimited additional research incentives;
  • A relocation subsidy of up to RMB 3.5 million (including state and local contributions);
  • A sum research fund on a case-by-case basis;
  • Tenured professorship and specific graduate student quota;
  • Priority over national or provincial projects application and team building;
  • Spouse relocation, children education, family social insurance and health care.

Junior Faculty Position

1. Requirements:

    (a) Born on or after January 1, 1985.

    (b) Natural Sciences and engineering.

    (c) Hold a formal teaching or research position overseas for at least 36 consecutive months.

    (d) Have no position on a full-time basis in mainland China.

2. Offer Package:
  • Salary of  RMB 600,000 per year + RMB 100,000 of housing fund and social security per year+unlimited additional research incentives;
  • A relocation fund of RMB 2.2 million (including state and local contributions);
  • A sum research fund of RMB 2-6 million;
  • Tenured professorship and specific graduate student quota;
  • Priority over Chinese talent programs or projects at all levels;
  • Spouse relocation, children education, family social insurance and health care.

About Tianfu Jiangxi Laboratory

Tianfu Jiangxi Laboratory (Electromagnetic Space and Ubiquitous Connectivity Laboratory) is a premier research institute strategically established by Chengdu High-tech Zone, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Huawei, BOE Technology Group, and other leading institutions. As one of the four direction-focused laboratories under Sichuan Tianfu Laboratory, it serves as a high-energy innovation hub dedicated to driving cutting-edge research and fostering transformative technological advancements.

The laboratory is located in Chengdu Future Science and Technology City International Science and Education Park, covering an area of approximately 60 mu (about 40,000 square meters) with a total building area of around 100,000 square meters. Officially inaugurated on November 23, 2022, the laboratory is led by Academician Guo Guangcan and supported by an esteemed Academic Committee composed of 23 top national experts, including 13 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Focusing on research in electromagnetic space and ubiquitous connectivity, the laboratory is pioneering breakthroughs in embodied intelligence, electromagnetic sensing, and advanced connectivity. With five frontier research centers and one technology innovation center already established, Tianfu Jiangxi Laboratory is at the forefront of scientific innovation and industrial transformation.
